The clinic has been held in the Spring in the parking lot of the Culpeper Safeway.
2010 Annual Drive-Thru Clinic
Saturday, April 3, 2010
Thank you, Blue Ridge Animal Hospital! Between Dr. Byrd, Dr. Beamer, Mrs. Beamer and 8 other volunteers, 356 dogs and cats were all vaccinated within two hours! Part of the proceeds were generously donated to the HSC and we are extremely grateful. See you next year!
Veterinarians from Blue Ridge Animal Hospital administered rabies vaccinations for dogs and cats.
The drive-through nature of the clinic allows participants to remain in the car while the shots are given.
If the pet is current on their rabies vaccinations, the shot administered will be good for three more years.
Otherwise, the certificate given with the vaccination will be good for one year.
The clinic was open to everyone (not restricted to Culpeper County residents).
The Blue Ridge Animal Hospital has generously offered to donate a portion of the proceeds to our organization.

Despite the rain, there was quite a line of cars in the Safeway parking lot for most of the two hour clinic. Thanks to all who came out and participated.
Of course, a BIG THANKS to Blue Ridge Animal Hospital for providing this service to our community.
Blue Ridge Animal Hospital will provide a copy of the rabies certificate for those who came through the clinic, but due to the rain,
they received an unreadable or otherwise damaged certificate. Call their office to find out the best time to stop by and get a re-issue.
